I was buzzing down a country road on my Ultra and a deer jumped out of the corn not more than 25 feet in front of me! I nailed the brakes and I felt the ABS kick in. I am convinced I would have hit that deer and probably crashed without the ABS.

Glad you are ok. I keep hoping I don't have a deer run out. In front of me! My 02 RKC doesn't have ABS.

Yeah that type of situation is exactly why I got ABS on my new scooter. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Didn't think I wanted ABS, but got it anyway. I'm glad I did, also. Good to hear things worked out on the positive side!!!

The image of that deer is burned into my memory, I was close enouogh that I could make out individual hairs on it,lol. I recommend ABS to everyone, there's no way I could have reacted that fast on my own!

Sounds like a good reason to tell the wife why you need a new bike ..... "Honey it will keep me safe so we can be together forever"

ABS is the best option since seats.
