I hate that the once cool mullet has now gotten such a bad rap. I figure we're less than 10 years from it coming back, just like bell bottoms, mutton chops and huge sunglasses.

MULLETS!!!
Armed store owner thwarts Gualala robbers
(Gualala -- population maybe 200 is up on the Pacific Ocean in Mendocino county. Santa Rosa -- a once lovely city in next-door Sonoma county -- is now a major dump.)
Armed robbers bent on stealing drugs from a Gualala pharmacy were thwarted Monday when the store owner also turned out to be armed, law authorities said.
Jack Chladek, owner of Jack’s Pharmacy, retrieved his handgun and fired a shot at one of the robbers, who had a pistol and was demanding OxyContin, a powerful prescription pain killer, said Mendocino County Sheriff’s Capt. Kurt Smallcomb.
The shot missed, striking the counter near the suspect, Marley Miller, 26, of Santa Rosa, he said. Miller then fled in a car with a second suspect, Chanceler Rowan Thorson, 20, also of Santa Rosa, Smallcomb said. The two were later apprehended by Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies near Lake Sonoma, he said. They were arrested and transported to the Mendocino County Jail with bail set at $150,000.
