I grew a beard a bunch of years back when I was a fishing guide,to keep the sun off of my face.As I got older I kept the beard as it was low maintenance and hid my double chin..

I cut mine off last year. The wife came home and told me she liked me better with it on. So, it started coming back the next day. It's grayer than my hair, but oh well.

Think I've been without a beard for about a month since I turned old enough to grow one. I'm 61 now.

I have had some kind of facial hair for 30 years or so. The last time I was clean shaven (on a whim), one of the juvinile delinquents I was working with told me I had "more chins than a chinese phonebooK". I laughed but it started coming back the next day!

Had a beard for about 6 months, shaved it. Had my flavor saver for freeken ever. I don't think my upper lip has seen the light of day for oh hell like 30+ years.

I've had mine for about 25 years. I keep it trimmed short. It started off as blond and now is grey. I get teased about it being grey, but age has a way of creeping up on you.
