I have never heard as much Softail bashing by the 'biker' community as on this forum. My exposure to the MC lifestyle is limited by region as well a professional and family requirements. I attend some non-Harley sponsored event several times a year. I am not a big fan of HOG events. Anyway, I thought I would start a thread to ask what types on bikes MCs from around the country prefer. While Dynas are preferred here, it is only by a slight margin. I have never heard any real bashing of any other particular model besides VRODs. Is there any basis to this bashing or have some people been watching too much Sons of Anarchy?

i have soem exposure to the MC's around canada and they all ride harleys, actual model varies by personal preference and while there is some good natured ribbing there isnt really any true bashing of models.

 

I ride a N/train,yet to hear anything bad about them,even a lot of riceburner riders apparently like em.As for M.Cs alot of them used to like FXRs,i think many of them now ride Dynas of some type.

 

You shouldn't believe everything you read and nothing you watch on TV, especially the tv news entertainment shows. They make stuff up just to rile people up and get ratings.

Can you too be an internet tough guy? Sure. Just say whatever B/S you want.

 

I see way more "MC Members" on baggers and softails than I ever see on dynas. Kurt Sutter's research failed him.

For the record, Dynas shift better with skater shoes on.
