When he made that post 09 was only 6 months ago.

Some custom choppers too.

I don't think they have a preference, or dislike, of any particular model. Most of their bikes are pieced together from all the stolen ones behind the clubhouse.

Ok. Now that the stereotypical response has been made..... I did see a Bandido on a VRod last summer.

That's it, dump money into it. Just don't expect to get any of it back when you are still disappointed and sell it. Experience includes knowing that a swingarm bike will transfer horsepower to the wheel much more efficiently than a sloptail. 90,000+ on my modified EG, and it has embarrassed a lot of "quick" softies (and still does). Also, knowing what works is key to getting some extra grunt while keeping it a reliable daily rider.

As far as the OP's original question, from what I've seen, they mostly ride in a beat-up van.

Highly doubt it. Even when I had a stock engine, I could out run my buddy's softail.

Does anyone buy a bagger because they wanted a performance bike?

These guys would likely have an opinion:

See the thread Bagger Wheelies yet ? ..................

What's funny as hell is most the guys going out and blowing big money on all the high performance upgrades can't ride the bike worth a damn in the first place , it's a dick wagging contest for most that's all .
