Are you a biker or a motorcyclist.

I only ride when it's sunny and warm. When it rains or snows, I put my bike on my trailer and bring it with me and unload it where ever I go so that i can appear to be a biker. I figure that since I'm kinda old, I have earned that title regardless of what I really am. thank you.

?
I see myself as somewhere in between. I'd rather take the bike whenever I'm home, which is 1 or 2 days every other week or so. If my wife and I go out we take the car (she's terrified of the bike). My son and I take bikes when we go out (he's 16 and riding his learner, a 1982 Suzuki 550).
My idea of a biker goes back to the 60's and 70's, and a "Biker" to me is a 1% type. Maybe not a 1%er, but with that kind of mindset. Leave me alone, I'll leave you alone, but fukc with my bros and deal with us all. I spent a lot of time around 2 of the 4 big clubs, and I'm not a biker by my definition.
A motorcyclist, to me, is a person who likes to ride but will pull over under the nearest bridge at the first sign of rain. They worry about a little stain on their leathers, a chip in the paint and keep their bikes clean all of the time. Lots of HOG types here, not that that's a bad thing, it just ain't me.
I ride my bike as much as I can. I don't wash it before every ride, but it sure does look good clean. If we agree, fine, if we don't, I won't hate you for it, but don't try to sell me something. I have a deep love for this country, and it sickens me to see what's going on. I don't care what you ride. My leathers are new because I can't fit into the 24 year old ones I just passed on to my Daughter-in-law.
Just call me a rider and let it go.

I was trying to figure out if I am a "biker" or a "motorcyclist", then I decided I don't really give a **** what label someone else wants to apply to me, and I went for a ride.
