Don't listen to the OP! As a photographer, I find that during some portrait shots it is highly desireable to have the subject looking straight into the lens of the camera. Now there are times when the picture will be better composed with the subject staring off toward another direction but, with the correct placement of strobes or with the proper use of the available natural light you will still be able to capture the true nature of the subject.

I could be wrong but I think the OP was just tired of seeing badly composed photographs........LOL WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!
