Bandanna covering my head, just like pictures of some pirates (only the captain has the triangle hat). Boots yep got-em. My shirt puffs up in the wind. Unshaven, usually on weekends. Had an eye injury and wore a patch for a while, but I still rode.
If I lost a hand or foot then I'd have a hook or peg leg but I'd still be riding.

I probably look more like a pirate when I'm riding than I do when I'm on my boat.

I wear my ugly goggles w/ a half skull mask while making tiger roaring sounds and waving my hands through the air clawing around. It really confuses people. lol I've been looking for one of those "jester" skull caps w/ the bells to complete the ensamble. ew ew ew...I can break out my old mocasine boots from years past too!

Not gonna lie, all TJ needs is a big hoop earring and he's there! Maybe an eye patch too.

I only wear my pirate costume on Halloween or when Errol Flynn is on TV.

For bike riding what you want is something more in line with Captain America. My Mom puts a towel around my neck and ties it off like a cape just before I take off on the sporty. I would take the shield with me but she won't let me ride one-handed.

The pirate gathers with other pirates, typically doing the shortest rides possible so that he can drink and look at/talk about his bike rather than actually ride it.

By my estimation, a good 60-80% of HD riders (at least in SoCal) are pirates. They are the laughing stock of the motorcycle world.
60-80% of Harley riders, but not riders of other ilk, eh? Hmmmm...... Well, 60-80% of what must an awful lot of bikers, sounds kinda like the motorcycle world, not the other way around.
