Pirate costumes....the keyword being "costume". How many dress the same way when they head back to work on Monday as they did on their Harley Weekend? Or on a neighborhood B-B-Q where khakis and Izod shirts and clean-shaven folks congregate. It's turned into a part-time, hobby type of thing. Did you shave for Monday?

Where I come from they call those fingerless gloves......nose pickin' gloves.

 

It's the faux Moto GP gear. It's the guys who think they can ride like a sonofabitch, but can't. The guys who ride down the road with one hand on the throttle and their left fist on their left thigh in some kind of superhero pose. The guys with the perfect, pristine never touched the ground knee pucks. By my estimation, a good 60 to 80 percent of the sportbike riders across the country fit into that category. You know, the laughingstock of the motorcycle world.

C'mon, you can define what a "pirate" costume is, but you need help with "power ranger". It's clear where your sympaties lie.
