Saw something crossing the road diagonally up ahead and thought it was a cat. Sorry I don't slow down for cats. Problem is it tracked me and caught the right side of my front tire then glanced my right hand and just whizzed by my head. Still did not know what it was, going too fast probably. I went back to investigate and found a spoke hub cap with the pan folded in half but the spokes were sticking straight out. WHEW!

 

A can of applesauce cut nearly in half, Made a great smell on my hot engine. 1 honey bee got into my shirt, tried to pull him out and got stung. Ran through a camp during bike week at Daytona and hit a pot of beef stew. Hit a Bull Dog. Hit several squirrels some dead some not. 78 full sized Olds.

 

Bet that last one left a mark , ow ..

 

I got hit by a bell pepper yesterday. Does that count. There was a hole in the semi trailer in front of me and they just started to fall out as I passed.

 

I seriously hope you hit it hard ..... wait minute that may not *** out right .... aw hell what ever you did .

 

Yeah killed a real nice Super Glide and had me in bad shape for a yr and a half. Said she pulled out in front of me because my headlight was out.(it wasn't) It was 4:00 in the afternoon.

 

been blessed not to have struck anything except a dead armadillo.....been lying in the road for about 1 week...man did that stink for a while....even after the car wash.........near misses are a different story....deer---man

 

A falcon flew head on into my fairing once, I think somehow he survived but it sure scared the crap out of me, when I saw him coming I just hugged the tank as close as i could, when the thud was over I looked around and didn't see him, he may or may not have made it.

 

My last owwee that hurt a while was in 82 , cut right just as the light changed so hit it bit to jump traffic and this broad pulls out in 79 or 80 Lincoln Continental you the one that was about a half block long ? looking me dead in the eyes I'm on a 9' chop with 2" drags doesn't get much louder I saw the front end dip like she stopped and I made the gap , bitch let off the brakes hit me on the passenger peg snapped the bike sideways into the concrete traffic wall , I figured is was just over 30' before we landed . I was still on the bike like I was gonna ride out if , didn't count on being about upside down , got a collar bone , 3 ribs and slept face down on the kitchen table for a good while

 

Going to Sturgis a few years ago and in the same trip ran a lawn chair over that fell off a camper ahead of me, a bird and a small re-rod stuck in the lower faring going through and stopping within inches of lower leg, but we had a great time at Sturgis.
