Is my wife's opinion worth jack?
Saturday I stopped at Harbor freight and saw they had a coupon for the 1500lb jack ($40 off so it's $59). I mentioned it to my wife (thought about getting 2 to use when washing our bikes) and she told me that I should get a more expensive "better" jack.
I was considering a J&S, (guessing I could save on shipping because I have relatives in the area) or Larin MAL2C (lowest lowered height).
I already have a lift table, so not sure how much major work I'd do on the jack.
Now I know what your thinking, why post this in the general B.S. section.
Well I caught a lot of crap for listening to my wife in the "biker name" post.
(that and jack threads are pretty much the same old B.S. anyway).
Do I listen to her this time?

If I were you,I'd do it.Keepimg them women happy is worth every bit of effort it takes.Have to say, starting out with a jack, then stepping up to a table, pretty much makes the jack a dust collector. All my washings happen with bikes on kickstand.

If you listen and heed her advice now, she will expect you to do it from now on.. I don't think it will be worth it in the long run.. go and buy the jack you hunted down and killed at a discount and drag it home..
