I like riding the bike to the bars around here, most having parking for bikes right up front by the door.

Oh and I don't drink when riding or driving, I go to bars for the social gathering not the alcohol. And it is not expensive when most bars are a $1.50 for a pop and free refills.

Most of the charity run stops are at bars. Other than those, I don't often visit bars.

I'll stop to eat. I have a one beverage rule when I ride. Anymore than that I think slows your reaction time, something that is important on the bike. But on the other hand, having one beer with the guys is enough to be social.

reminds me of this woman I meet.... she's taken the Rider's Edge class, and bought a sportster.... NOT to ride, and get away from it all....
but because she "was looking forward to enjoying the biker lifestyle at all the biker bars"

But then she thought I was crazy.... because I'd rather ride 500 miles alongside a metric, than park at a bar all day with her crowd....

takes all kinds

...a bar is important...when you´re a woman and you need to go to the toilet lol.
But only a non-alcolic beer there.

Used to bar hope a lot, then finally got sick of the whole scene. The women were always to much of a temptation. And love to drag race, could never refuse the chance to dole out educations, alcohol used to make for some serious high speed runs.
