Living by lake Erie some months are terrible.I use Lloyds bug remover after a ride.They say peroxide and water works 50/50.I've thought about a fine Pam spray before a ride.Pledge before and after helps alot.

It don't matter around here.Their season is short and they have a lot of breeding to do.

It may be short, but it's UGLY! I spent two weeks near Bangor one June, and the black flies and mosquitoes nearly sucked me dry.

I spray my entire bike with "OFF" bug repellent each time I get ready to ride, haven't had a bug come near it since.

Don't know about the headlights but those damn crest white strips sure bring them in.
