Where do the neighbors run to?

 

Can't wait to see the video. My wife runs when I start

 

It's new so she's not used to the noise yet. After you have it awhile she'll get the connection and run out to meet you when she hears you comin down the street.

 

I think the dog is scared of the noise-like Trex said she will get used to it.
Really nice bike BTW. No worrys mate.

The dog wil not get used to it. It, unlike us, does not like noise loud enough to damage ears.

 

Even though my dog is still a pup,he has no fear of the sound of my bike.He was about 10 feet away the first time I fired it up around him.He didn't even flinch or try to get away.The second time I did it,the wife was holding him on the leash.He was only barking because he wanted me to get off and pet him.Ditto what Trex said,she'll get used to it.My last dog would perk up at the sound of any Harley.Before you know it,she'll be waiting at the door when you pull up.

 

yeah ther's a long road leading up to my house so i'd bet my dog can hear me or my dad coming from 1/4 mile off. by the time we get to the house he's up against the gate waiting for us.

like your dog though, he chills around the bike all day until you start it, then he runs off.

 

Our little dog is a freak. If I start the bike and she's in the house she starts howling. If she's outside she comes running around the bike and starts prancing around it wanting to get on, weird....may have something to do with me bringing her home as a pup on the bike........I dunno.....

 

My Bulldog just yawns and goes back to his nap when I fire up the Street Glide or Dyna. Never bothers to wake up from his nap when I start the Buell. My parents have an American Eskimo Dog that ran and jumped up in my lap while I was still moving on the SG last time I went down there. Luckily she cleared the pipes cuz she jumped from the right side.

 

Those pipes are probably 50 times louder to your dog than to us.
