Shooter Two-Two-Five
The story is here
I hate to post a link to a story, but most of 'em are only 7-8 pages long and this one is twenty-three...bifocalistas beware!
Now, I KNOW that "Shooter Two-Two-Five" has nothing to do with Harleys, not directly, but in 1980 I had a Honda CB-450E and one of my crew had a Softail. He never let ANYONE ride that Softail. One evening, he came out of a topless bar (where, he assured me, he was passing out free Gideons to the employees) and found a recalcitrant trespasser astride his machine. Seeing this, he had no option but to pull out a U. S. Navy pilots pen flare gun and pop the interloper amidships.
He is still wanted by the law.
(There ya go...bikes, attitude, Navy stuff, pilot stuff, and story all neatly tied together. Please don't banish me to MiscellaneousLand)

As always I and Mrs. Zag thoroughly enjoyed the story.Thank you for sharing it with us. It must have been quite an exciting day for everyone involved! Hell of a start to a flying career.
