This thread is a little on the, uh, shall we say frufru side. That being said, cutting the pit hair actually isn't a bad idea. I don't shave mine but I do trim with a trimmer. Having spent the majority of the last four years in Iraq I've learned to appreciate the little things that help to keep me fresh and smelling good. Someone mentioned that it's not the hair that makes you stink, which is true, however the hair will hold the odor from the sweat. Most of the dudes I know who are over here at least trim up from time to time for that reason. And I don't think anyone is going to accuse these dudes of being soft or gay considering what they do.

 

No clue, although that side IS slightly smaller.

 

Well, we all have our preferences. Maybe those darn stingin' insects prefer smaller ones!
That's gotta freakin' hurt!!! They always get stuck in my hair and sting my head or go down my back, both of which are better that your scenario!

 

Worst one was a yellow jacket & nowhere to pull over. Little bastard must have stung me a dozen times before I found a place to pull over. He was all but dead when I finally shook him out!

Have any of you guys shaved your pits yet? I haven't, and won't because I'm sure I'd be a bloody mess before it got done.

 

I'm just glad I never considered shaving my pits, and that I never will. Sheesh.

 

I always shave mine then finish off with Lemon Pledge.

 

Windex is a fine after-shave bracer, too....
