I'm riding my bike to the shop today for 1000 mile maintenance, sunny and I'm sure there is rain not far away.

I'm going to Florida in a few days with my GF and another couple, Fort Myers and Naples area. I've read there's a motorcycle event Saturday in the area. All of us are going to the event in our rent-o-cage. The cost of renting two Harley's is just too much $$$ for this poor boy. I'm not paying more to rent a bike than a round trip flight ticket from Wisconsin.

Regarding my GF mags; Good Housekeeping and Glamor. I just can't bring myself to read them. They're filled with articals about other people's relationships and things about men that every woman should know. Good thing she just flips though and spends more time looking at the ads than reading the articals.

 

I took a trip down there in October. Great place. Beaches are stunning people are really nice. It you make it to Venice Beach check out Sharkys on the water. It has a pier + it is on the beach. Amazing sunsets.

 

You know, I've been married 40 years, and she's never once asked me what I was thinking, or expected us to sit around and discuss our feelings....she knows I'm generally thinking about beer, sex, guns, motorcycles, belching or farting.

Rough break, ladies, I'm already taken!

 

I rode today, but I can't ride right now, so might as well post here, at least til I get off work in the morning and get to ride again.

supposed to be 9 degrees celsius sunday and my bike is still tore down grrrrrrrrrr hmm i wonder if i can ride withotu a seat and fenders LOL

 

In all fairness to those that are less fortunate, I believe that the Moderators of this Forum should impose a cut-off date in the latter part of September so that the "normal" people that live outside of California or Florida don't have to put up with the SMUGNESS of people that have never seen snow outside of a magazine ad for Colorado or Utah.

 

It's nice to have things to do while watching the hands of time drag on by.These sites are a great place to exercise the grey matter.
