Yeah, yeah and they always turn confrontational, just like cops threads and always eventually get locked or shitcanned; sometimes both; and sometimes people get slapped (handed infractions), suspended or banned. Therefore consider this as discouragement to starting them and at the very least, that you've been forewarned. Surely, there is something better to talk about here.

Really and truly? Stay tuned. They're like forum napalm. Cop threads tend to flame out early. 1%'er threads can meander along for quite a while before they burst into flames and implode. It's the pissing matches that usually do it.
