Default Honda "Chopper"...this guy must be on crack!

And not, I am not referring to the Honda Fury...

I have seen this bike visit a neighbor of mine a lot over the summer. The first time I saw it I thought it was a VLX600 but not sure why anyone would put that rediculous rake kit on it. Then, I just laughed every time I saw or heard it (it sounds like a law mower with no muffler).

Not to mention the $8500 he wants for a bike that MIGHT be worth $3000

FYI: Reason for selling: I just bought a new Harley and another AME rake kit.
That cracked me up.... but yeah I am not sure why you would do that to a 600 and think your going to pull 8+g's out of it.

might be a bit expensive, but I think it's pretty cool. There were tons of Honda choppers in the 70's and 80's.

I had a honda 550/4 chopper with a king and queen seat 6 over front end, mini apes and a car back tire Volkswagon i think. I rode the wheels of of it. I wish I knew where it was now I;d buy it back and restore it to the way it was back then. For a 17 year old kid I was doing alright. I don't know if I was cool but I got plenty of tail and the only kid in school with a bike.

Not only were there tons of Honda, Kawasaki, and Triumph choppers back in the day, they were often the only choppers that ran dependably.

That is a VLX 600. Very popular bike still.
the place that chops them.
I have one sitting in my garage, it's the girl friends.
NFW would I care to give that price for it though.

I think it looks pretty good. I wouldn't want it for any price, but it probably looks better than the stock version. Just my .02

The price is why I thought it was so ridiculous. I know bike values pretty well and with those kind of miles that is about a $3000 bike. There is no way that kit makes it worth $5500 more. I have seen new Honda Fury's being sold for $9500. Just my $.02

My first bike was a 97 VLX 600, and I thought it was a great first bike. There is nothing wrong with those old school choppers, but I dont see how putting a bolt on 14° rake kit on a bike with some loud exhaust makes it a chopper.

Could'nt agree with you more on that Mike!
No way it makes it worth any where near what he is asking.
