Thumbs up

Horses are great whether on four legs, beneath the hood or with two wheels.

J, is endurance still big with Arabs Down Under? It was when I was still raising Arabs 7 years ago. I've only done a couple of 25 mile races here; one on the Arab stallion I used to own and one on my Trakehner/TB mare. Wish I had more time for that sort of thing as I really enjoyed it, but work interferes.

Horses and Harleys mount from the left.
Horses and Harleys buck when handled rough.
Horses and Harleys turn short trips into epic adventures.
Horses and Harleys run faster when they have new saddles.
Horses and Harleys ride better in groups.
Horses and Harleys get colicky if fed the wrong stuff.
Horses and Harleys are central to American literature.
Horses and Harleys need to be touched by their owners every day.

Yup - I think they are?
From someone who grew up training Tenn Walkers. Horses can be expensive. Feed, vet bills, farrier ect ect. And, a bike deosn't swell up his stomach when you put the saddle on, 10 min later you're doing a bugs bunny impression.

Listen to everything your horse tells you.
Go everywhere your bike takes you.
Believe 10% of what your husband says.

And I'd rather pay the farrier than the dealership.

Sure is Georgia Girl, a lot of Aussie breeders are selling to the Arabs believe it or not. Big dollars too. We have a 400 k ride in Aust called Shazada - good website if you want to take a look. I do believe though that a mule still holds record for longest ks. but would have to confirm this. Our motto is 'to complete is to win' but they still have first second third hahaha

My farrier can tell me who's having an affair wiith who - what's wrong with the world (from a farriers perspective) Still winks at you and thinks you're hot eventhough you are over 40 (he's 70) and rides a Harley. What more can you ask for.

Now the dealerships. That's another story
