Wow....we seem to have the same game going on. Wife has two horses and I have one Harley....for now.

I would give up my Harley before my horses, no question but I've been riding horses since before I could walk. I have three horses and may be getting a fourth.

neighbors don't like them
can haul whatever you can fit in the saddle bags

makes your *** sore if you ride too far
you shouldn't put them up wet
cost too much

Hi John,

Used to ride a sporty now ride Arabs. We had a bit of fun earlier this year and race my arab horses overland with my mates Harley 100 ks. Funny results - seem a lot of harley riders also have horses. Go figure. Anyway from Byron Bay. Lived Melbourne, Sydney etc. 42 degrees C today. Hot country

This past summer I rode my first harley and my first horse... I'll take the harley over the horse, although everyone was amazed at how well I rode. They said I looked like a pro and didn't even know the horse could gallop. Hahahaha, I guess I just watch a lot of cowboy movies and get the logistics of the whole ordeal. Cant wait for spring to ride em both again!!!

P.S. I'm another John, but everyone calls me Chops

I grew up with horses. I've never been out in the middle of the night with 12 inches of snow on the ground chasing my bike because it was feeling frisky and escaped. I've never had to cut out blocks of ice from a pond to melt to water my bike because it was so cold the pipes froze. I've never had to drag my *** out of bed with the flu to feed and water my motorcycle everyday. I'll take my bike over a horse any day of the week.
