Why did you buy a HD instead of a metric...like all to come clean and state the real reason and not the politically correct one...

Politically correct people don't own Harleys.

Because with a metric, all you get is a motorcycle - I'd as soon just drive my truck as ride a non-Harley.

When my wife wanted one, we even looked at metrics for the price, but after spending a month or two checking out different dealers and brands, she decided she wanted a Harley or nothing. The difference is pretty obvious, even just by going around to some dealerships and meeting the people who ride and sell them. It's a whole different culture.

I owned around 10+ m/cycles before I realized I wanted a Harley
I owned 20+ m/cycles before I could afford a Harley
I bought other m/cycles after I bought my 1st Harley (Euro + Japanese)
I have owned 40+ m/cycles, 4 of them Harley's
I still like Harley's the best.

Not sure if that answers the question.......

Never had one. Never owned a vette until I bought one. Got rid of the Vette but one day I know I will have to buy another. But now is Harley time and the vette may never come back.
