Didn't Harley put out a Montana collection some years ago that was brown.. I have seen several guys with the 2 tone black/brown combination that looked good enought to wear while riding.. For some unknown reason I decided to get my leather out last weekend, not this weekend, last weekend and wipe them down.. Dammmnnn what a mess they were.. BUTT now they are too shiney, looks like I just bought them.. someone might mistake me for a poser, they don't know that I am a prospect..

 

I like leather, have several leather jackets -- including both brown and black (none of them, BTW, are HD models or even have a HD logo on them anywhere). I've always heard that black doesn't show road grime as much and that's probably true, just never been a real concern to me.

 

I like brown leather. Wife years ago bought me a Structure brown leather bomber jacket. By far the best leather coat I've ever owned. Zipper went bad, and I haven't worn it in prob 3 or 4 years.
Now ya got me tempted to have the zipper fixed

 

hmmm 3 black bikes in the basement... 3 black vehicles in the garage.. closet is so dark from all the black I had to switch to a higher wattage bulb to see in there... is there any other color?????

 

I think there's just more black cows then brown ones. I see them in the fields all the time.

 

 

Back in the 70's the word was "never trust anyone in brown leather". But that was then.........

Lived in AZ. back then. Maybe it was a regional thing.

 

My summer gloves are yellow leather. (See sig pic) Cheap gardening gloves. They work great as thin riding gloves. My last pair of motorcycle boots were yellow, too. Have a black pair now but might not go with black for my next pair.
