I change my own oil on my Victory for less than $60 with the appropriete supplies bought from my local auto parts store(Mobil 1 MC oil and Wix filter). One drain plug changes everything and I can have it done in less than 20 minutes short of any scheduled checks or adjustments per the owners manual.
$60 for DIY seems high. I can get the Nomad changed between $15-21 using either Shell Rotella dino or full synthetic.
agreed. vic can only dream about selling as many bikes as harley
True. But Victory is in the game and growing. Their new High Ball bobber is a nice addition to the product line. Harley's new Blackline, on the other hand, is just another Softail variant. Nothing to get excited about.
I like it. It's impossible to view a Victory by Harley standards because the styles are so different. Victory's are modern whereas the HD is old school and traditional. Neither is bad. It just depends on what your tastes are.
i do argee with you. but i guess that means i am old skool all the way. as said above beauty is in the eye of beholder or whatever.

You got to be kidding.
That highball is just a Vegas with wire rims, 16" www tires and goofy apes. Everything from the too big rear fender to the Jimmy Durante headlight is out of proportion. Bike is cartoonish.
