They had a chance to come out with a true bobber. I had my hopes up when I read the description for the High Ball (Victory's new bobber) . Then I saw the pictures. All they did was put fat white walls and apes on their very finished and modern looking bike.

My local Harley dealer is now selling Victory's out of the same showroom.

I jokingly told him that I thought his actions were sacrilegous.

If you look carefully at that particular Ness Vision, it is actually decals under the clear coat which I don't like at all.

I actually love the styling on the Vision.

I don't understand why everyone screams, "Harley Clone!" and then they say, "I hate how they look, look at their styling!"
The two statements are entirely contradictory.
Well I have only seen one up close and didn't pay much attention other than plastic cover on gas tank. I just mean they do more of a variety I guess idk for sure. But harley is bland on there paint. I hate mu paint job and can't wait to change. Harley needs a black out version and chrome version of each bike and offer more than three or four paint schemes of each bike

I like it. It's impossible to view a Victory by Harley standards because the styles are so different. Victory's are modern whereas the HD is old school and traditional. Neither is bad. It just depends on what your tastes are.

I do know that many of them spent a lot of money trying to turn them into baggers with big saddle bags, windshields, floorboards, comfortable pillion seat etc....which (in my opinion) makes them pretty unattractive bikes. Hell....they're Harley's muscle cruiser.
I know of a guy that had a V-Rod and really loved it but ended up moving to an Ultra because of the kind of riding he did. The V-Rod just couldn't be modified enough for the lond distance riding he like to do but he would glote if he could get the V-Rod engine and some of it's other features designed into a Harley cruiser model.

I change my own oil on my Victory for less than $60 with the appropriete supplies bought from my local auto parts store(Mobil 1 MC oil and Wix filter). One drain plug changes everything and I can have it done in less than 20 minutes short of any scheduled checks or adjustments per the owners manual.
