But then again, this forum is full of rice cage drivers......so maybe it's par for the course
I hear you on that Schu. I may like Harley better, but I definately don't condemn Victory. I may not like the Vision, but some of the other models are nice looking. I'd definately take a Victory over anything Honda makes, but that's a whole different debate.

I always laugh at that myself, fly the flag on two wheels, then jump in the Honda / Nissan / Toyota....seem's somewhat hypocritical to me.

The best thing about Harley's are the engines. They just look F'n cool to me. Every engine they have made, even if they we'rnt the most reliable just caught my eye more than any other part of the bike.
Please explain what an internal push rod is, and where on the Victory it is located.

I'm not sure you can say it's hypocritical at all....Buying a Toyota, Nissan, or Honda built here in the US, by American Workers...Truth is Americans CAN build great cars....with Japanese management.

Not so sure I would call Sonny Barger an old lady.

Schumacher is right. I noticed "Polaris" cast into the Victory fork sliders. No Honda Forks like Harley has. Oh and they were chrome sliders...from the factory.

assuming you are not kidding around they don't have internal pushrods , they have chains that never need to be adjusted so they say.

I so almost bought a Victory...but the RKC looks got me.....
Maybe I sacrificed a little on engine and even handling...but I am not the kind of rider to push things to the limit anyway.
The Victory looks more modern and that may well pull in the younger riders. I personally prefer the nostalgic look of the harley and even the Americana of owning one. Ya, Vic is American made too but doesn't have the history.
I say ride what you want...I am.
