Harley v Victory?

Hi all,
A little known fact about Victory is when Polaris decided to build motor cycles
they knew they couldn't compete with Harley so they decided they would try to
corner a previously untried part of the motorcycle market and that was to sell
motorcycles to old ladies.

I know on paper they're faster than Harleys but.. I ride with two different guys that own them. I've raced both of them.. neither have beat me yet (seems like they always back down when we get close to, or over 100mph). Jim (one of the guys that has the victory vision) says he gets a hard vibration when he gets around 85 mph or more, so he backs out of it.

Hi all,
Sorry bub but that cats out of the bag on that one. If you got rid all your off shore stuff you'd have to ride your Victory nakid, live in a tar paper shack and cook your food over a camp fire but only if you could find an old cast iron frying pan in a thrift shop.

Victory (Polaris) maybe makes a good engine, but I can't get passed the internal push rods.
The best thing about Harley's are the engines. They just look F'n cool to me. Every engine they have made, even if they we'rnt the most reliable just caught my eye more than any other part of the bike.

I have a buddy that sold a Victory 95 CI and bought a 2000 cc Kawi cuz the Victory didn't have the ***** to carry him and his ol lady around. Anyway when I had the springer he could walk away from me on the highway any time he felt like but when I got the FLHX and even though
I have 60 lbs on him I could pull away from him. So CI for CI their not
faster but who cares anyway.

Well that explains why Schu wants one so bad.

Naw, had enough of that with my Aspencade
I just don't understand how anyone in their right mind would condemn another American made motorcycle that like I said has more american parts on it than a Harley. That's why I defend Victory in here.
It's like pissing on the flag to me............
But then again, this forum is full of rice cage drivers......so maybe it's par for the course

beautifull drive line and make it look like a Honda or a Victory. Nice bike, got a black 06 parked in my garage next to my FLHX.

As he types his response on a computer with a main board made in hong kong, a monitor made in Korea and a keyboard made on Malasia. Who cares Id ride a Harley if it had square wheels.
