Harley v Victory?

[QUOTE=schumacher;5911587]One of the Victory Cross series bikes is on my list to own before I die.
this could be a turn around for victory. would like to see a toned down vision.
lets see where their sale this yr compared to the yr before

how about a touring cross country instead ????

[QUOTE=07 8ball;5951706]Nope. The cheap old Cross Roads is my pick of the bunch. I'm going for lightest remember.

I *really* like the Cross Roads, too.
If I thought the Sgt.-Major (wife) wouldn't mind.....I'd go find one. (kind of hard in Montana.)
But I do want a bagger, and I don't like Harley Touring bikes--they're too slow!

Faber, I would of thought a Ulysses would be more appropriate up there in MT? plus you can get bags on it!

Really the bike to have in the northern Rockies is a sport-tourer: fast and smooth on the long flatland miles, and nimble enough for the high mountain twisties. Just have to keep adding to the stable
I imagine a K1300GT or the new Multistrada would be fun in CO, too.
