It's pretty simple actually. If you don't want fries and a coke, don't get fries and a coke. But don't go getting your panties in a bunch if I do. We're all grown ups and can decide for ourselves what we want for lunch. And no matter what, don't go trying to get the Gubbment involved. That never ends well.

Happy thanks giving yall

Awesome! I'm nominating you to be Fast Food Czar.

I'm with thirdruffian. What a country! Besides, the fatter the rest of the population
is, the better I look.

I love a Big Mac. Just not too often.
If other countries hate us so bad why do they allow our
buisnesses to operate there?

IF you shove it in your pie hole, you either have to burn it off, or STORE IT. It just doesn't "pass thru".

I grew up watching my Dad eat, 4, YES, 4 eggs, fried in butter and bacon grease, left over from the multiple strips of THICK sliced bacon Mom fried for him, and 4 slices of buttered toast. When he was done with that, she'd put a slice of homemade German rye bread on his plate, and then POUR the butter/bacon grease over it !!!!!
He lived into his 90's.
We lived on a farm, and you ate like a friggin' horse, cause you NEEDED the calories, to perform, WORK. NOT brain work, BUT good ol' PHYSICAL labor. Food is an "energy" source, NOT a pleasure source, as MOST now use it.

We now do LESS, and eat MORE.

Momma and I talk 'bout that, almost EVERYTIME we go out to a restauraunt. The portions are usually HUGE, by ANYONE's standards.

As for MacD's, BK, those places, VERY RARELY darken their doors.

I called that, "The HOMOGENIZATION of America"
One of the major JOYS I have gotten out of scooter trippin' & trampin' over the decades, is/was finding and eating ALL the fantastic "local" foods.
And the li'l Ma/Pop cafes, where she made her "own" pot roast and gravy, cajun catfish, clam chowder, pies/cakes, and chances are, the veggies, were local grown, etc.
NOW, it makes no diff, IF you exit in SoDak, Fla, Ca, or Ok. There they are, the Slop Shops, right at the top o' the ramp, servin' puke from a pail. Plus they could "F" up, a wet dream, when it comes to filling your order.

NO, I am NOT N E kind of a 'health' nut. TRUST me!!!! ("Slim" does not translate to 'healthy'.)

BUT dammt, people, some NEED to start watching, their INTAKE, or git off their DEAD AZZ, and MOVE 'round.

We had a thread on here, not long ago, 70% of HS kids, UNFIT for Military.
Momma and I happened to go to the Casino for a meal. While sitting there, I thought 'bout that thread, and started looking 'round. 70, is close, IF not a li'l light. Those were just the OBVIOUS ones.

NO, I DO NOT want, Obama, Bush, or N E other Gov't AZZ, sticking their nose in it, PERIOD. BUT beings everyone thought it was such a DAMMT good thing to go after BAD BACCO, the door is NOW wide open, for the NEXT "HEALTH ISSUE", and that would be, whatever THEY choose.
OOPS, betta STOP, thare, HUH, Terry?????

NOW, everyone OVEREAT, at the Turkey Table, Today, like ME !!!
