Riding Wearing Flip Flops?

Had a toe injury just like that on a four wheeler...the shots between the toes was worse than the injury at the time. Too bad for me, 8yrs later I can still feel my toe getting dragged underneath the foot peg...
Yup, I learned my leason.

About as stupid as riding without a helmet but that is just my opinion. Or riding with shorts for that matter. I wear a helmet no matter what state I ride in or what their laws are. Got too many scars, mostly on my head from when I was young, dumb and full of *** so learned at an early age I am dumb enough already and more head injuries were not going to help.

i'd ride in flip flops......if they had a sturdy sole, were wrapped in leather and had a steel toe!
+1 on painful shots between the toes! Suuuuuuuuucks! Last time I had an ingrown toenail I told the doctor no shots......just rip the damn toenail off, but no shots! Way less pain than the damn shots.

Ok, so funny story here, sort of related in a way. In our younger days we did a lot of dirt biking, most of us exclusively rode open bikes (500cc). So one day, out camping, around the fire, drunk as usual, I make my buddy a bet that he can't kick start his bike with a bare foot. It's not easy at the best of times to start a 500cc mx bike, but in a bare foot? So he goes for the bet. I'm thinking easy money. The bugger get's on the bike, bare feet, and actually kicks it over, several times, I was sweating. He damn near started the *****. So close. Turns out he didn't do it, but didn't pay up the bet either, cheap bugger. Anyway, that dude was the fastest dude you'd ever seen on a dirt bike, he could wear flip flops and all you'd see of him would be his dust trail on the next hill several miles ahead. We called him Buck, because he acted like he was half indian. Crazy fu(ker.
