I never much cared for this show, so this anti-Harley episode didn't particularly surprise me.

If you are offended you're missing the satire of the show. The episode is more about down playing the term phag being used only as a slur against ***s stating that it is and has been used to mean different things throughout history.

As for my response to the show, I wouldn't say I'm offended. More like annoyed. But then that's always been my response to Trey Parker and Matt Stone. I've watched maybe a dozen episodes of SP, and I did like the pilot, where Jesus and Santa Claus duel to the death over who owns Christmas; but on the whole I've just never been impressed. Parker and Stone remind me of THAT guy in your college English class. You know, the one who dominates class discussion, who thinks he's way smarter than he actually is, who seems to irritate everyone including the professor, and who wins debates just by sticking to his guns long after anyone else even gives a rat's ***. I know the show has its hardcore fans, and if you're among them, more power to you. But it's just never been my cup of tea.
Anyway, on with life. Since the topic has already been thoroughly discussed, I'll be just as happy if this thread dies the death it deserves.

South Park and the definition of the word "***"
Saw SP last night and the kids wanted to change the meaning of the word F.a.g to describe anyone who owns a Harley or rides a Harley without any regard for their fellow human beings. I'm not sure what the writers were trying to say. Seems I had to put a period between the letters cause the forum won't let me spell the word.
