The Hogs were the real bikers. The Del Fuegos were all posers. When Captain America showed up at the end of the movie he pretty much spelled that out for everyone.

I ride with a few old friends from time to time. No trauma, drama and I know what they are going to do. We don't start trouble and we joke with each other about our own quirks. The group has dynamics like the hogs and we definitely ride to the same places too much sometimes, but that's more from time restraints then habit. It is still a movie and only small parts are a true reflection of life while most of it is overemphasized for ticket sales.

Well, if we talk about the real persons, I'd like to share the road with Mc Ginley, Liotta and Fonda. I'm sure they would have a few great stories to tell (Mc Ginley from his "platoon" time, Liotta about the "goodfellas", and, well, guess about Fonda.
