It's not really the type of wax you use that is important here. The important part is making sure you get all the water off first! Waxing over water spots is a no-no.

So, do you use a leaf blower? Or one of those $100.00+ mini blaster things?

i am pretty sure its ok i polis hmy wood on the front steps in my chaps and fingerless gloves all the time, everyone seems to complement me on how magnificent my wood looks when they walk by. even the little old lady across the street who just hates my bike compliments my wood polishing skills somedays she'll sit and watch me for hours while i polish it. i never did like Pledge it leaves a residue i find, i have been thinking of switching to a more eco-freindly polish but its hard to find that stuff around here. ya think the turtles in turtle wax bio-degrade fast enought o consider it eco-friendly?

 

I see you guys are catching on about the Pledge, after all it is a "Johnson Wax".

For hardwood I prefer tung oil applied by the fairer sex.

 

What about polishing "bitch"? Would you guys ever let another guy dust the same coffee table that you're dusting? 2 guys dusting the same table, using the same can of Lemon Pledge? WTF? I might do it if my table broke, but that's it. I'm being serial about this, and I want only serial answers & opinions.

 

What is bothering me is :-

Where should I put the cap of the Lemon Pledge while polishing and dusting the table ?

This is a great question. I remember reading this type of question once before, and I thought to myself, "what kind of stupid question is this? Who really even cares?" But then, I was dusting my table the other day, and I gotta tell you --- I didn't know what to do with the cap of the Lemon Pledge. It was really bothering me. If you get an answer to your question, please post it so all members of the forum will know what to do. We can't have Lemon Pledge caps just layin' around all ***** nilly, or something like that.

 

some tables have an extra spot you can use much like a cup holder, i find sticking the cap in there will often suffice,

 

Can anybody tell me the best boots or shoes to wear while polishing my coffee table with Lemon Pledge?

 

I think ya need a pair of boots with heels about 4-5 inches tall if your going to be polishing a coffee table - HOT looking!
