Is RoosterBoots a Real Biker?

No your not.
A real biker would have already had that cold weather gear and would be looking forward to the next ride whenever and where ever without a second thought. You Fail!
Myself, I'm just happy to be able to read this forum and learn what real bikers are all about.

Sorry Rooster, ya can't claim ta qualify fer winter duty till yer tongue freezes ta yer cheek, while trying to lick the frozen snot off.
And good luck with that hip. For what it's worth...and I don't know if it'll make ya feel any better, but....I've got a "long rider" friend who has had both hips and both knees replaced. The one hip has been done multiple times.
He is still riding and still loving it. His advice.....gut it out and rehab to the max....the end results are well worth the pain.
