Default Should I ride

Been raining most of the day. It just stopped and the sun is out. Its suppose to stay sunny for the next 3 or 4 hours. I've only been riding a couple of weeks (350 miles worth to be exact). What do you think? Should I saddle up and go ride or wait for a day that the roads won't be wet?

Wait an hour, then ride. The streets will be dry (mostly). If some are still wet, just take it easy. You, nor the bike, will melt.

you need to learn how to ride in wet conditions sometime. Better to do it when it aint actually raining on you. Take it slow and enjoy.

I rode, glad I did. Was nice and cool out, the roads had dried for the most part. Really good day to be out for a few hours. I wasn't the only one on the road, ran across a few groups of riders.

Good day to own a Harley.

Like has been said, take it slow, rain tends to bring road oils up, if it hasn't rained in a while the roads may be greasy. Just don't do like I see so many new riders do and that is ride in the center of the lane. Thats where all the oil and crap drips off the cagers motors. Especially at intersections where cars may be sitting for a bit. Not everyone drives an oil tight car.

Oil on the intersection is nothing compared to those white stop lines on the road. They are slick as snot on a doorknob when wet!
