long johns double up if necessary or a cold weather suit like a snomobile type suit except for bikes. Freakin chaps fringe or no fringe are Gay.

yup laughing my *** off at guys wearing chaps getting offended about fringe. If you wear chaps you might as well wear fringe.
Only time chaps are ok are in the bedroom with a VERY hot submissive chick.
skip wearing chaps in public if you are a man.

I still have my fringe jacket I got in the early 70s:
It takes a real man to wear chaps though. I gotta say, I was on my way out from work once and a guy had on leather chaps over his jeans - on the way to his bike (just riding home from work). I thought it looked quite ridiculous, but that's just me. Especially, if you're just riding around town. I say no fringe though.

Chaps dont make sense to me. Fringed chaps make even less sense...
If I need weather protection in the cold, leather PANTS with windproof lining makes sense. covers your crotch and your azz, zips down the side for easy on & off. If its COLD, wear long johns.
