I would not mind putting some white ones under my tank to back-light my Twin Cam but nothing too extravagant.

+1 I bought my bike to ride, not park and look at. Posers! Lol, just kidding. Nothing wrong with it, just not my style.

Ok, gotta chime in here. I have em under my tank and around the engine. The bike is blue and pewter so I have blue lights. I've always liked the look and have had them on my past 3 bikes. I have them not only for looks, but for visibility's sake as well. I get noticed at night and find I have fewer problems with them on. I agree that some people go way over the top and light ALL up. Not my cup - o - tea either. Oh, I did not demasculize my bike either - just added a light touch of class

Too bad AMF didn't come up with this idea years ago. It would have come in handy for when the bike broke down at night.

I kind of doubt that. They've been doing it for many, many, years.

Son got me the basic kit for X-mas, two on each side of bottom tank and 1 under A/C.
We don't ride at night often so we have used them 2 maybe 3 times this summer.
They light the motor area a little, Black bike and Black-lite lights. Not over done just a little different..I don't really care for the circus look either..
