I have an Arai Quantum F and a Shoei Multitec. The Arai is warmer due to not being a modular, but the Shoei is adequate for rides in the low 30's. Both of these helmets are kinda pricey, so I would try on as many different ones as you can for comfort. Some others on the forum have mentioned a brand that is very quiet, and thus well sealed, but I don't recall the name. I'm sure someone will chime in!

I use the Nolan 102n bought it a couple years ago and am happy with the features it has, it is noisy and using earplugs helps. I,m looking now to get the Nolan 103n supposed to be quiter and they are close to the same price around 300$.

I bought a cheap Hawk FF helmet when I first got into riding($75.00). It is alright on the cold days. I used to complain about the wind noise though but then I changed out my pipes to V&H and now I can't hear anything but the pipes. I still use the hawk helmet everyday. I was gonna buy a 3/4 and a better FF helmet but never got around to it. Oh well.
The thing you have to worry about with FF helmets is the fogging effect that happens on riding on cold days. I don't think any certain brand eliminates that problem. you just have to find some de fogging wipes and apply it.

I've got a HJC full face. Pretty inexpensive and got very good reviews.

I ride in the winter, and have found that my flip down face shield with a Schampa face mask does the trick. Check em' out GA Girl told me about them last year and they're great.

good reading here: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...le-helmets.htm

FWIW, I use an ARAI quantum f when on my sportbike

P.S. This one won helmet of the year and very reasonably priced: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...et/gmax/gm68s/

Get whatever helmet you're comfortable with. I like to wear one of these under it when it's really cold (below 50 degrees). They fit under most helmets without any problems.
