Laconia or Myrtle
I know its early but we are thinking about going to Laconia or Myrtle next year. I know at Laconia it rains and Myrtle has enough other problems right now with the city but I was hoping somebody could tell me the best campgrounds for a large toy hauler that is either close to the fun/party or amoungst it.
Any other suggestions for some good smaller rallies and campgrounds as well I'd appreciate.

I appreciate the reply. I have been looking on line alot and don't seem to get a whole lot of info on the campgrounds. Thought/hoped I would get more responses on here. Maybe I should've labled the question differently.

Went to Myrtle last year there wasn't really any problem ,the city of Myrtle shut down the small strip going thru the downtown beach area which is a very small strip nobig deal. The businesses love bike week and most of the action is down in the murrels inlet area where the whole strip is a big party.
The city pulled this crap because they wanted to get rid of black bike week which caused many problems but instead of handling the few bad apples they decided to take the chickensh*t route and attempt to discourage all bikers.Go anyway its a good time and you will be welcome.
And no offense to any black guys thats just what the bar owners told us when we were there and its unfortunate that a few has given the many a bad rap.

I grew up 5 miles from Laconia and currently live 15 miles from Laconia. My choice for Bike Week is Myrtle Beach. Laconia is way too crowded, too condensed. Most of the action is in a two mile stretch of route 3. We have some fantastic riding up here but it isnt in Laconia. Myrtle Beach Bike Week is spread out so you do more riding than sitting in traffic and they have good riding too. I go to MB spring and fall rallies every year and I spend about four hours - mostly sitting in traffic - in Laconia.

We stay there every year, if you decide on Myrtle Beach.
