First there were chaps, then there were the fingerless gloves, then there was the do-rags, and then the wave, and now stripes!? Damn this biker thing is complicated!

Just go ride your damn bike!

 

Driving a car? Driver.
Flying a plane? A pilot.
Jogging? A jogger.
Riding a bike? A biker.
Writing anything at all? A writer.

...What's the problem with any of it? Why concerned about anybody else and what they do, where they got or how they use what it is they got? Ok, "have" rather than "got" for you linguists out there. Like I asked, what's the prob?

Be proud of your ragged, rough, wrench turning and homeless at times biker past. I don't fault you for it, nor do I respect you for it, nor do I care one way or the other. I simply would respect you as a man, a person, and someone who cares enough about his own past enough to write about it here. That's cool. It is simply what you did. If I or anyone took a different path that led us to a dealership to whip out our check book while wearing cleanly pressed clothing and drive off with a nice '09 Heritage Classic with lot's of extra's, so what? -smile-

Now, back to work for me. I need to keep earning enough to get that plane I have my eye on!

And my first bike was a 1970 175 Kawasaki Bushwacker that I rode to High school. And it was new!
