Would you buy a purple bike?

I recently bought a 2001 Heritage Softail that is purple with silver ice. It looks like a pearl blue in the sunlight. I paid $7,000 cash for the scooter with 23,000 miles. It's very clean! I'm going to flip-it and don't believe the color will be an issue. As I'm going through the bike, preparing it for sale, the color is actually growing on me and I'm beginning to like it.

Only if it was cheap enough that I broke even repainting it.
Years ago when you had to order and wait for new Harleys, a buddy of mine ordered one in a color that I believe was called "Cobalt Blue." When it showed up, the color was a lot more purple than it looked in the brochures. He told me that anybody could look tough on a black Harley, but it took a real man to look tough on a purple bike. He had a good sense of humor about it, but it got repainted in about six months.
