If the price was right and the bike was otherwise righteous I'd go for it.
Paint is relatively cheap....

 

when i was shopping for my first bike i wanted either the black/grey 03 paint scheme duece or heritage, or a purple wide glide, or purple and silver road king.

wifey said she'd leave me if i was seen riding a purple bike and i thought about doing it just to **** her off but luckily i found a smokin deal on whatever the hell this color is considered lol

i like it but i dont. i think its a nice looking combo but not for me.

 

Purple is not a gay color; LAVENDER is. When I first moved to Florida, I bout an old Honda 750 so I wouldn't hafta leave my Harley parked in crappy areas. It was the color of Pepto Bismol. Got a lotta comments on THAT one.

Purple is usually associated with stoners/hippies. VERY 60s! Very Hendrix,Grateful Dead, & Janis. Prolly why I like it, so YES; I would DEFINITELY ride a purple bike.

a real purple is kool looking, but that one in the pic isnt purple
some try to think purple is royalty -- wrong, royal blue is, and royal blue sure the hell is not purple lol
plum crazy is a kool color there are some new house of color paints out that are beautiful
i would ride a purple bike if it was a nice color purple like a pearl or metal flake or something, long as its not girlish lolol

 

Sure would as long as it was American made.

 

Painted mine green on purpose, lol.
