tire warranty ???
hey
i got the tire warranty on my bike. my front has been cupping for a while now, but no fix under warranty. the tires have 13k on them. tires will cost 700$ ish installed
all the people i ride with say put a screw in them or a nail in front and rear tires , then pull the nail put a plug in it and go the the dealer for the replacements.
has anyone done this??
i`m kinda pissed the front has a defect and they wont fix. the front should last longer than the rear? but my front is wore more.

Man, just buy your tires online, take the dismounted wheels to a metric dealer and ask them to put on the new tires for you. Save about 400 bucks that way.
And instead of figuring out a way to cheat someone out of a set of tires, find out what the cause is. More than likely the front was not balanced and that's why it cupped.

i only asked due to the posts i have read around here where some have said they never pay for tires with the warranty, they also stated that their dealer told them to put a screw in the tire.
thats why i asked who has done this?
i have not done it so dont judge me for asking a ??

you guys are right. its a stupid selfish idea!, thanks for pointing it out.
i`m going to ride the rear and see how far it will go.

Do you get your service done from an indy??? I have been getting my service done from an Indy from day 1 and all I do is bring my bike in and he replaces them and puts the claim in for me. Next up is some new rims! I think I might have hit a curb or something. He has done other "warranty" work for me also. The best thing I bought was the extended warranty (7 years).
