Leaving your feet down has and allways will be a dead giveaway for someone who is lacking in experience..
%40 of your controls are controlled by your feet plus the fact of weighting your outside peg and using the pegs to help balance the motorcycle.

+1 on that, Sometimes we as riders might develop bad habits over time but who cares. I dont drag my feet but until I replaced the passenger pegs with boards I didnt realize I was allowing my feet to swing back a little on the way to my foot pegs , Live and learn.
