I dont know they spin and when i stop they are not spinning what gives ?

If you pass one on the left they are spinning counter clockwize,on the right visa-versa.

Not to hijack the thread, but kind of in keeping with the theme (off kilter questions).

Huh?? Huh?? Well, will you? I want to know because if you weigh less at the equator, I'm going to start a company to send all those who want to weigh less to the countries at the equator. Think it will fly??

OH yeh....
The Earth spins both ways. Clockwise & counter (anti)-clockwise at the same time.
