Didn't go for a ride today. Was busy golfing and had some running around to do.

 

Rode to my buddies place in the city to help him do a little work on his door entry. Nothing planned, nothing bought, no proper tools. In other words, a cluster #*&%. An hour in Home Depot to buy a 2x8, a 2x4, a 1/2x2, and a couple of concrete fasteners. Oh yeah, this is the same guy that I helped build this disaster:

 

It was a disaster because it was 4 1/2 years in building, has 9 treated 4x4's that are still twisting away, and the only things that are square are the window openings.

 

A well oiled machine Eh

 

I only had one idiot try to kill me on the way back home tonight. No look in the mirror, no head check, traffic on my azz, no turn indicator, and over he comes within a couple of feet of my front tire.

 

Idiots are everywhere

 

I listen to the radio here and it seems that everyday there are accidents all around Phoenix. Everybody just in too big of a hurry.

 

Yeah right. 6 hours and the job is not finished. You checked the parts list, right? If he would have left for a while, I could have finished in about an hour! Of course, I would have had to go home and get the right tools. So, it would have taken me 2 hours.

 

Next time you will have to bring what you need. Sometimes it is best if those that don't know just stay out of the way.

 

I don't like riding at night much, and even less in close to the city.
