Saw a LOT of bikes of all kinds and makes. Only stupid riders I saw were back in MO. A group of crotch rockets decided that crowded I-70 was the place to do well over 100 mph. I'm just glad one of them didn't die from hitting my truck, although it was mighty close (less than a foot!)
LOTS of construction on the Wyoming side of the Beartooths! Many, many delays!
We saw a bunch of REAL bikers in Sturgis. At least they sure looked like real bikers. Why go there after the rally?
I never have to go to Mt. Rushmore again. If you go there, take pics from the highway and save the parking fee.
There has to be some redeeming value to the rest of South Dakota (other than the Black Hills), but I can't think of one. I don't think I'll cross it again. It was just as I remember it. Crummy highway, windy as heck, and BORING!
Way too many people in the big parks for being in September. Almost as bad as summer!
