I guess we will have to stick to the back roads then. Stay away from any cities. We are hoping to summer here and winter in AZ. Snowbirds on two wheels.
That sounds like the real deal to me! My jealousy is starting to run deep! heehee
I'm retired at 54, but my wife still works. So, I'm still limited in the extra-curricular activities I can participate in. If I was gone all of the time spending dough, I wouldn't be retired long!!!
Yeah, I don't think that it was a minute too soon. However I was with Ford and they don't seem to be as bad off as GM.
Let's hope that they can keep their head above water! I got out of teaching and even that isn't safe anymore. There's been a bunch of RIF's in St. Louis area schools this year. Used to think teaching was recession proof. I just plain quit. Couldn't stand the crap anymore.
Ain't nobody safe these days ( except maybe politicians). Everybody's jobs seem to be on the cutting block. Just hope that they don't start attacking my pension.

That's the real scary part. In some instances, even "guaranteed" pensions aren't so guaranteed.I still think you guys at Ford are gonna be OK. Who knows what will happen with GM and Chrysler, what with the bankrupcies, Fiats, etc. Makes my head hurt.
