We rarely get lightning out here....I remember big and frequent lightning storms when we visited my OL's dad in NC many moons ago. Spooky ****. A farmer and a plumber working in a basement got electrocuted just in the county we were at. Lightning rods all over the place.

From this point forward my responses could get very intermittent. When you start adding malt to the brew, ya gotta watch it VERY carefully.....it can take off like a damn volcano, and I don't want to lose about $80 of ingredients all over the kitchen. OL beat my *** too if it happens. Shame to beat an old man when he's cryin.

I remember his fluorescent lights flickering from inductance (and they were turned off). I went out on the porch to watch the big show, and the old bugger grabbed me by the collar and dragged me inside.

Looks like denny havta be on the lookout for sharks glowin in the dark now... they are dumpin tons of radioactive water into the ocean... good grief!

Here it's seldom a problem unless you're at the top of a big mountain....the occasional golfer gets hit, but that's really the way it should be. God smiting those that weareth the godawful plaids.
