Three hurt in Byrdstown shooting
BYRDSTOWN -- Three men were shot and injured last night in Byrdstown in a disturbance which began as a domestic argument, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The three were identified by the TBI as Jerald Bora, 50; his son, William Bora, 22, and his brother-in-law, Jonathon Beaty, 36.
It happened Wednesday, March 2, at 555 Old Kentucky Road in Byrdstown, which is the home of Jerald Bora, and reportedly, the incident began as an argument between Bora and his son and brother-in-law. The case is under investigation by the Pickett County Sheriff's Department and the TBI.
Two of the injured men, Jerald Bora and Jonathon Beaty, were airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, and William Bora was taken to a Livingston hospital, said TBI spokesperson Kirstin Helm.
"The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation at this time," Helm said this morning.
